Paul Daniels was my guest on the show in this, the fifth podcast in the series. I know many of you have been waiting to hear this one, as Paul is a living legend of TV magic, having been on UK television for a total of 16 years with The Paul Daniels Magic Show and Secrets.

Fantastic episode! Clever and entertaining chap, that Mr.Daniels.
When Paul was talking about the book that originally got him interested in magic, Ben commented that he had a friend with a similar book. This is me, I suspect… and what’s more, it could very well be the same book. It’s called “Home Fun”, by Cecil H. Bullivant – my copy is the 1942 reprint, but the original was published in 1910, so the dates may well fit…
And, in addition to a “Conjuring for All” chapter, it does indeed have, as Paul described, a chapter on puppetry and a section on how to “vamp” on a piano…
