Psychologist and former professional magician Richard Wiseman – author of Quirkology – joins me for this edition of the show and indeed the magicast.

We discuss the way magic can be used to understand the human mind and why magic works as an entertainment, from the point of view of a man who has worked in both magic and psychology.

Richard was a fascinating guest and the podcast is a very good one indeed.

Speaking of podcasts, apologies for the delay in getting this episode and episode seven out. Between Resonance FM and myself, we’ve had several issues that have made podcasting rather challenging. I’m getting caught up now and will be up-to-date shortly.

Enjoy the show!

Special Guest Richard Wiseman

Tune in to the show on Tuesday 19th May at 6pm GMT for what promises to be one of the most fascinating shows yet.

I’ll be joined by professor of psychology and former professional magician Richard Wiseman to discuss the psychological side of magic. We’ll look at the way in which magic affects the brain and even the way in which it can show us how the brain processes information.
